Black Business Initiative (BBI) is a social enterprise agency established and Registered in and as a company limited by guarantee in June 2001. We provide free one-to-one and group-based business support, training, information, advice, guidance, etc. to new and existing businesses. Advocacy and Representation |

| Provides advocacy support to existing and newly emerging BAME Small and Medium Enterprises at the appropriate levels in order for their views and aspirations to be heard and contribute to the shaping of government policies at local and national levels. |

Youth Business Initiative |

| Promote and support enterprise culture and development among our youth through business simulation and business games in schools and colleges. |

Business Mentoring |

| We operate an outreach support service through our Business Mentoring Support Service to Black, Asian and Ethnic Minority Businesses and others with one outreach business adviser dedicated to providing business support on and off your business premises. This service enables us to maintain contact with those clients who have set up locally to review their progress and support them in the early stages of trading. We also provide business mentors for recently established small businesses that may be linked to any of our associate partners. |

Consultancy |

| BBI has a database of well qualified and experienced BAME consultants specialising in very diverse business areas, able to provide business related consultancy support, advice, information and assistance to individuals, groups, organisations, governments and agencies through the network at very reasonable rates. BBI is also interested in working with international non governmental organisations in providing enterprise focused consultancy projects in the developing countries, particularly, Africa, Caribbean, etc. |

| BBI will assist individuals, projects, groups and organisations - profit or non profit making organisations in identifying suitable finance sources either for starting up or refinancing your existing business or project. |

Capacity Building |

BBI provides capacity building support to community projects and social enterprises throughout the most difficult early stages of your organisational development. These include advice, guidance, training, information etc.
